CNC Miller

The Role

You will be responsible for the availability of machinery for the production of manufactured components. Through the effective and timely setting and operating of the machinery, you will ensure that machines are set so all components are set to scale of company quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machine to perform machining operations on a 3 axis machine
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure quality production
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize manufacturing processes
• Maintain documentation of CNC programs and machine settings

The Candidate

• Proficient in CNC Milling
• Experience with Fanuc controls
• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced engineering / manufacturing organisation
• Apprenticeship in engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations
• Proficient in the use of hand tools for machine setup and adjustment
• Pro-active, energetic, resilient and flexible
