Position: Mig Welder

Location: Fraserburgh

Type of position: temp to perm.

Working hours; 39 hours per week plus overtimes paid oat 1.5 rate.

Benefits: 33 days of holidays, plenty of overtimes, company shut down for Christmas, free parking.

Our client is now seeking to recruit 6 Mig / Flux core welders to work on 12-month contract basis for a busy engineering manufacturing company based near Peterhead. This is 12-month contract position that will turn into permanent employment for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

The appropriate candidate would be responsible for Mig welding of structural black and stainless steel following technical drawings.

You will have previous Mig welding experience.

Stick welding (desirable)

Clean and maintain all equipment including welders and your personal air fed welding helmet.

Requirements:

Mig welding experience

Competence with hand and power tools.

Capability to interpret engineering drawings independently.

Commitment to achieving high standards of workmanship.

Training will be provided for individuals unfamiliar with working with stick welding
