Project Manager / Project Leader / Project Engineer required to join a global manufacturer within the electrical industry.

Project Manager / Project Leader / Project Engineer shall oversee projects within the critical power / UPS systems sector from inception to completion, ensuring specifications, timelines, and budget constraints are met. Responsibilities include managing project-related health and safety, organizing factory acceptance testing (FAT), arranging equipment installations, and facilitating commissioning and customer training sessions.

The Project Manager / Project Leader / Project Engineer will ideally have project management experience, preferably in the electrical industry. Strong knowledge of UPS systems, Electrical installations BS 7671:2008, and health and safety regulations (RAMS) is advantgeous. 

A UPS service Engineer looking to come off the tools and progress in to a Project Management role would also be of interest.

Project Manager / Project Leader / Project Engineer Role
• Managing electrical engineering projects from handover through to final completion.
• Prepare project documentation and oversee health and safety compliance, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Organize factory acceptance testing (FAT) and equipment installations.
• The Project Manager will own the entire Project delivery relationship with important clients and through high level, highly proactive engagement will be constantly alert to opportunities to develop, improve and maintain that relationship.
• Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery for installation of small to large Critical Power products working remote and visiting customer sites when required, mainly in and around London.
• Perform consulting services at customer sites as well as over the phone.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.

Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager / Project Engineer Requirements
• Proven electrical engineering background in project management, ideally within the UPS market or a technical electrical qualification such as 18th edition with experience working on complicated electrical systems, looking to progress in to a project role.
• Detailed knowledge of UPS Systems, uninterruptible power supplies, critical power, LV switchgear, MV switchgear, transformers, generators, battery systems, power distribution or similar electrical engineering products is preferred.
• Experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Product Manager, Programme Manager, Applications Engineer, Project Leader, Electrical Project Manager, UPS Engineer or similar within the electrical engineering sector.
• A technical electrical qualification, APM or Prince2 Project Management qualification is advantageous.
• Fully remote, willing to travel occasionally to the London area.
• Full UK driving license.
