Shift Engineer

This is a great opportunity for an experienced, qualified maintenance engineer to join our client's team on a prestigious commercial property in the heart of London. This role will be following a 4 on / 4 off shift system, (Day shift only, 7AM - 7PM) undergoing PPM and Reactive Maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment on site, liaise with subcontractors and respond to any emergencies on site. This is a great role for any Maintenance Technician looking to take on more responsibility and join a FM Service Provider where you can progress further internally. 

To be successful for this position, you will be required to hold the relevant qualifications, (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)  at least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance, a great attitude and the willingness to learn more.

Job Duties:

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, BMS Operation
• Organising subcontractors
• Quotations 
• Health & Safety
• Logbooks
• Risk assessments
• Permits to work

Requirements:

• City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering
• Apprentice trained - desirable 
• Experience in LV / HV switching - desirable 
• Career driven and motivated
• Polite and personable
• Statuary compliance 
• Communicate with the client

Salary and Benefits:

• £48,000 - £52,000 per annum
