Bystronic Pressbrake and Laser Setter / Operator
Our client is looking for a Bystronic CNC Pressbrake and Laser setter/operator. Experience in only one of these areas will be considered, but they are ideally looking for a candidate with the experience and desire to work in both areas.
They are a growing engineering company looking for an individual they can cross train. Their goal is to find someone with proven time served experience in at least one of these disciplines, where 90% of your working time will be spent in one of those areas alone, requiring training in the other area only to cover holiday periods, improve productivity and to cover sickness where required.
Hours of work are: Monday to Thursday 7am - 4.30pm and Friday 7am – 1pm. Paid 10-minute break at 10am and unpaid lunch at 1pm (Except for Fridays) 42 hours paid per week (Paid weekly on Thursdays)
Job Type: Full-time, permanent (13-week mandatory probationary period employed directly with the company)
Start date: Immediate start available
Salary: £12.50+ per hour (Negotiable start rate dependent on experience)
Candidate requirements:
- Bystronic Pressbrake or Bystronic Laser setting and operating (Online) either or both: 1 year+
- Good understanding of engineering drawing, being able to understand a kit requirement from a bill of materials, ensuring parts are all present and correct forming a kit for subsequent operations, being able to produce as per approved processes and samples
- Following good working practices and company processes
- Fulfilling maintenance and cleaning responsibilities for your working area and its machinery therein
- Punctual and reliable
- Good communication with colleagues
- Fork lift truck licence (Preferred)
