SECURITY SYSTEMS ENGINEER (Fire & Security Industry)
We are currently looking for a Security Systems Service Engineer for corrective and preventative maintenance visits.
Key Accountabilities
- Call outs & On Call cover
- Maintenance
- London travel/work required

Skills and Abilities
- Experienced at installing security systems with speed and accuracy
- Strong communication skills
- Report writing
- The ability to review site plans
- The ability to meet deadlines
- Proven problem solver
- Can-do attitude with the ability to adapt to change
- Working efficiently under limited guidance
- Punctual and conscientious
- Full UK car driving license
- Self-improvement, the ability and aptitude to learn new systems
- An understanding of IP and networks
Desirable Experience:
1. A minimum of 3-year experience working on the following
- Access Control
- Door Entry
- CCTV
- Intruder Alarm
2. ECS certified
3. Carrying out site surveys with sales team for quotations
4. Installing door furniture on a variety of door types (e.g. wood, metal and glass)
5. Integrating multiple systems e.g. hardwire link access control and intruder alarm
6. Installing to NSI standards
7. Basic understanding of IP networks and aware of VLANS
