Quality Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to join my client, based in Kent.
The Quality Engineer, based in Kent will report into the Quality Manager and will monitor, plan and improve business processes whilst increasing production output and product quality. Other responsibilities will include:
- Monitor production processes and identify potential problems and malfunctions.
- Participate in the validation of manufacturing and engineering processes including on the job training.
- Resolve quality issues through the structured application of problem solving and root cause analysis techniques.
- Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
- Monitor calibration system & ensure equipment is continually calibrated to schedule.
- Support prototype, sample and controlled product change builds through pre-production and production cells.
The successful Quality Engineer, based in Kent will have a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline and have worked with ISO 9001 or AS9100 internal auditor. You will have 3-4 years experience within a similar role.
