Field Service Generator Maintenance Specialist

Salary: £40-50K DOE

Mon-Fri: Days

Location: Off-Site - South West London

Our client is looking for a Field Service Generator Maintenance Specialist to join their team of engineers.

Responsibilities for the Field Service Generator Maintenance Specialist

'' Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on power generation products in the field, adhering to documented standards and schedules.

'' Escalate issues to product specialists or supervisors for further assistance.

'' Complete necessary documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents, either via handwritten forms or input screens.

'' Undertake training to improve skills and meet business requirements.

'' Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of service vehicle and tools.

'' Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, reporting any incidents to site management and supervisors.

'' Work effectively with minimal supervision.

'' Demonstrate accurate fault diagnosis in power generation products.

'' Ensure timely completion of service documentation.

'' Identify upsell opportunities to customers, documenting rejected opportunities before customer signature on service worksheets.

Qualifications for the Field Service Generator Maintenance Specialist

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience diagnosing and repairing of Power Generation equipment.
  • Mechanical / Electrical experience.
  • 18thEdition Electrical qualification preferred.
  • Electrical Theory and Troubleshooting.
  • Minimum of City & Guilds or equivalent in electrical engineering.
