Job Title: Ink Technician

Place Of Work: Westbury, Wiltshire

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Hours of Work: 3 Shift Weekly Rotation - 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm & 10pm to 6am

Salary: Up to £28,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• To assist in the day to day running of the Ink Department
• Maintain high hygiene and housekeeping standards
• Monitor stocks of materials in order to maintain supplies during equipment operation.
• Formulate ink using a spectrometer and Xrite software
• Colour match ink colour on press and on the bench.
• Assist production personnel with ink and ink ancillary related issues
• Selecting and maintaining Anilox rolls
• Assist in maintaining quality during press runs
• Managing and utilizing Press Returns

Qualities from Candidate

• Previous experience in colour and colour matching will be preferred.
• A good eye for colour is essential
• Experience using a spectrometer and Xrite software preferable
• Printing experience in any discipline
• An understanding of Anilox specification and selection
• Good time management skills
• Ability to work toward targets
• Self-motivating
• Troubleshooting skills
• Quality conscious
• Excellent housekeeping skills

In Return 

• 37.5 hours per week
• This role is working on our 3-shift system, with shift rotation being mornings, nights and afternoons.
