Because of continued growth and demand of their niche products, this employer is actively searching for a Senior Mechanical Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis.

This employer is Huddersfield based, meaning that the successful Senior Mechanical Fitter can easily commute from surrounding towns & cities including Halifax, Elland, Wakefield and Bradford.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Fitter:

• Acting as a Team Leader for the Assembly department, responsible for the assembly & building of bespoke products
• Building, testing and repairing bespoke Hydraulic & Pneumatic equipment
• Accurately operating a test rigs to ensure that units are able to perform in line with agreed specifications
• Reading, interpreting and working directly from engineering drawings & diagrams
• Accurately completing reports & paperwork around assembly & test results

Working Hours of the Senior Mechanical Fitter:
37 Hours spread across a regular day shift

• Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 16:30
• Friday - 08:00 to 13:30

In return, the Senior Mechanical Fitter will receive:

• Annual Salary: Up to £32,708.00 (£17.00 per hour)
• Holiday Allowance: 33 Days including public holidays
• Enrolment to company pension scheme after initial probation period
• Internal training & skill development
