Electrical Project Manager

Magpie People have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager with an engineering background to join a market leading engineering company based in Barnsley.
The main duties of the role:
- Full project lifecycle involvement with complex engineering projects
- Involved with the design and management of electrical aspects of multi disciplinary projects
- On site commissioning, both in the UK and overseas
- Liaison with the Project Manager to provide regular updates and support
- Interpret client specifications and providing engineered solutions
- Represent company at client meetings and support the project
You should have:
- An electrical engineering qualification such as HNC / HND / Degree or equivalent
- Previous experience of designing industrial control systems
- Project management background with electrical engineering and controls projects, covering full lifecycle from tendering, design through to Commissioning
- Strong knowledge of PLC / SCADA systems using Siemens, Mitsubishi or Allen Bradley equipment
