Electrical Project Manager

Salary/Rate:
£45,000 - £55,000/annum

Magpie People have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager with an engineering background to join a market leading engineering company based in Barnsley.

The main duties of the role:

  • Full project lifecycle involvement with complex engineering projects
  • Involved with the design and management of electrical aspects of multi disciplinary projects 
  • On site commissioning, both in the UK and overseas
  • Liaison with the Project Manager to provide regular updates and support
  • Interpret client specifications and providing engineered solutions
  • Represent company at client meetings and support the project 

You should have:

  • An electrical engineering qualification such as HNC / HND / Degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience of designing industrial control systems 
  • Project management background with electrical engineering and controls projects, covering full lifecycle from tendering, design through to Commissioning 
  •  Strong knowledge of PLC / SCADA systems using Siemens, Mitsubishi or Allen Bradley  equipment
