Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)

Location: Girvan

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity in Girvan? We are currently looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team for a potential temporary to permanent role.

Role Overview: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment on-site. The role primarily involves dealing with breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance of conveyors. We are seeking candidates with either mechanical or electrical expertise, preferably with experience in plant environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on machinery and equipment.
• Handling breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime and ensure continuous production.
• Performing preventive maintenance tasks to prevent future issues.
• Working on conveyors and other equipment as required.
• Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a plant environment.
• Mechanical or electrical qualifications are essential.
• Ability to handle breakdowns efficiently and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Information: This is a temporary role with the potential for permanent placement based on performance. There is no 'on-call' requirement, and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are ideally looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
