Job Description

The Mobile Plumber is tasked with delivering plumbing and building services engineering maintenance to various client properties.

This encompasses fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installations across the client sites.

The primary focus is on providing a world-class building services maintenance service, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, adjustments, testing, and troubleshooting of assigned plumbing equipment in accordance with plumbing codes, diagrams, operation manuals and manufacturer's maintenance instructions
• Repair cracked pipes and open clogged drainage. May work from ladders, scaffolding, hydraulic man lifts and other high-rise equipment
• Observe plumbing systems and fixture in operation to detect failures or locate causes of malfunctions
• Dismantle devices and removes defective parts
• Inspect used parts and equipment for changes in calibration, dimensional requirements and manufacturer's specifications
• Maintain complex plumbing systems including equipment washers and steam cleaning devices, air compressors, hydraulic lifts, water and drainage systems, and sprinkler systems
• Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and leak detection tests
• Install, modify and make repairs to plumbing by locating and tapping main line, setting up system routes, placing and cutting route openings, placing hangers
• Completes routing and placement of systems leading to equipment; seats, connects and tests systems and equipment

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• Plumbing and domestic heating technician (level 3)
• Significant experience in providing mechanical building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation, and inspection/testing
• Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance
• Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties
• Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements
• Evidence Training and competence in managing High Risk Works (Mechanical)
• Ability to explore a situation, assess and offer different options to formulate a plan that meets or exceeds objectives and expectations
