Position Overview:
Join our team as a Metrology Lab Technician and play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our measurement equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining our metrology lab, calibrating inspection tools, and providing essential support to our production teams.

Responsibilities:

* Manage the day-to-day operations of the metrology lab, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
* Conduct calibration of mechanical inspection and measuring equipment according to established standards and procedures.
* Keep track of equipment calibration status and ensure proper maintenance and housekeeping of the metrology lab.
* Review and update metrology procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Maintain compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements within the metrology lab.
* Provide technical support and guidance to production teams on metrology-related matters.
* Conduct training sessions for operators on the use of measurement equipment and best practices.
* Coordinate calibration schedules to minimize disruptions to internal customers and liaise with external calibration houses when necessary.
* Manage the resolution of equipment failures or deviations from calibration requirements.
* Participate in internal and external audits related to metrology, as well as investigations for Materials Lab and Test Engineering.


Job Requirements:
What We Need from You:

* Previous experience in using or calibrating mechanical measuring systems, with an understanding of Geometric Dimensional and Tolerances (GD&T) preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and drive personal performance improvement.
* Analytical mindset and adaptability to changing requirements.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and influence others.
* Focus on compliance with established standards and procedures.
