Maintenance Lead

Goole – up to £45k - Mon to Fri (2pm finish on Fridays)

Our client in Goole are keen to recruit a multi skilled engineer to lead a small maintenance team. The Maintenance Lead is responsible for the day-to-day management of the maintenance and repair of all plant equipment including filling, blending & packaging machines.

Duties: Reporting to the Operations Director, the Maintenance Lead will

Managing the day-to-day activities of 3 other engineers and any apprentices

Working alongside them as well as alone, providing instruction and motivation

Prioritising their workload with the use of in-house systems

Controlling the in-house Preventative Maintenance System

Reviewing existing processes with a view to offering improvement suggestions

Playing an active part in site Health & Safety

Maintenance Lead Requirements: As well as being mechanically and electrically experienced (ideally mechanically biased) the Maintenance Lead will be apprentice trained (or equiv), be computer literate with a logical approach to problem solving and be able to diagnose faults and carry out corrective activities. You will have a positive approach to work and commitment to continuous improvement and in order for you to pick up parts from time to time, must have a UK Driving license in order to drive the company vehicle.

This company manufacture, pack and re-pack chemical powders and liquids. You will be maintaining plant equipment including filling, blending & packaging machines

No weekends or shift work: Mon - Thurs 8am–4.30pm and Friday 8am-2pm (with some call out responsibility)
