Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting in behalf of a leading engineering company in Bristol. We are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter who is either recently qualified or is looking to add to their skills in the Valve Industry. 

Essentially you will need: 

• NVQ 3 - Mechanical 
• Good understanding of maintenance and mechanical practices
• Able to read drawings
• Excellent aptitude for learning
• Some valve knowledge would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be given 
• Flexibility to work on site when needed

The role: 

You will be working alongside highly trained valve technicians, where you will undertake additional and accredited 'on the job' training which will include the strip, inspection, overhaul and re-build of a variety of mechanical valves for the Petrochemical, Power and Distillery markets. This is primarily a workshop based role, but you will be required to work on site during busier periods from anything between 2 - 10 days at a time. You will be compensated for this with a site uplift rate, accommodation etc. 

The person: 

This would suit someone who's recently qualified and wants to work in a very niche, booming market or someone who has a good level of maintenance experience, but wishes to increase their knowledge within the industry to become a specialist on their field.
