BASIC SALARY: Up to £32,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Mechanical Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Installation Engineer - Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering
 
This is a varied role which will teach you several aspects of our business. The core responsibilities are split between workshop engineering, fitting, repair, technical customer support and Field Service Engineering.
 
You will be attending client sites across the UK but biased towards Midlands & Southern locations  to complete services, fit spare parts, diagnose and repair reported faults. This will require flexibility and staying away overnight as required. Initially, you'll be dual visiting alongside experienced Field Service Engineers until fully up to speed.  
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Mechanical Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Installation Engineer - Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering
 
· You'll have some exposure to hands on mechanical engineering - maybe from education, work experience, or maybe you just tinker with cars as a hobby?
· You'll develop technical support skills, whilst completing service projects, fitting spare parts and fault finding on technical issues at client sites across the country.
 
Any exposure to electrical wiring / control gear would also be of benefit - as would any experience of AutoCAD.

The right candidate will be given an opportunity to grow within this role and take on larger projects / promotion to the sales team / new product development etc.
