Established in 1993, the Livingston plant has been manufacturing air conditioning units for 30 years and producing heat pumps for installation across the UK and Europe since 2009. Today, it is the largest heat pump manufacturer in the UK, employing 1,840 people and helping to support investment in Scotland’s green economy and the wider transition to low-carbon heating.

The full-time position of Production Planning and Control Assistant Manager leads the Production Planning Team includes (but is not limited to):  developing and implementing production plans, managing manufacturing lead times, coordinating with the production/stores team to ensure that raw materials are available, ERP management control monitoring production output, new model introduction planning, product identification accuracy, capacity planning, team development, training and wellbeing,  ensuring all related parties are informed and aligned with production schedules.

 The position focuses on optimizing the production process to meet demand while minimizing costs and ensuring quality and safety. The Production Planning and control Manager is critical in coordinating different departments and stakeholders to ensure that the production process runs smoothly, and that the organization can meet its business objectives.

 The successful candidate will possess a combination of technical, analytical, and leadership skills, can continuously prioritize, and shines in a challenging environment. They will have proven history in achieving established goals, including, inventory levels, production planning accuracy, capacity utilisation, productivity, training, scheduling efficiencies, and the oversight of equipment, system performance and downtime, identifying operational growth opportunities ensuring employees’ focus on safety first.
