We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, safety, and innovation. We are currently seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Job summary:

We seek a Maintenance Engineer with Multiskilled expertise to operate in a food production setting. The optimal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in both electrical and mechanical aspects and possess a Level 3 qualification in electrical and mechanical engineering.

Job responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Conduct regular maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment within our state-of-the-art food production facility.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability and longevity.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and conduct safety checks, maintaining a secure work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the maintenance team, ensuring all equipment is operational and efficient.
  • Participate in equipment installations and upgrades as necessary, staying ahead of industry standards.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, minimising production downtime.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and quality standards to maintain our exceptional reputation.

 

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer:

  • 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer in food production or manufacturing.
  • ONC/HNC or equivalent recognised apprenticeship in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency in pneumatics; knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dedication to workplace safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
