Our client is looking for an experiences Technician/ Senior Technician to join their Birmingham office. This client has 3 offices across England and are making expansion plans. This is an exciting role that will provide support and progression.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role of 3-5 years, with good knowledge of highway design. They will have experience in the drafting simple designs of both commercial and residential developments including access junction, infrastructure, drainage, standard details and traffic signs and road markings.

They will also have:

• Knowledge and experience of highway design standards - DMRB, Manual for Streets and NRSWA.
• Knowledge and experience of technical drafting and adhering to quality standards, be proficient in self-checking, and prides themselves on the quality of the outputs that they produce.
• Knowledge of highway and drainage adoption processes and legal requirements for S278, S38 and S104.
• Good understanding and use of software packages including AutoCAD, Civils 3D, KeySigns/Lines and Vehicle Tracking.
• Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to maintain good records.
