Project Engineer to work with PM on a high-rise project near Chelsea involving extensive basement and sub structural work on a £36m package of a new development, with 20-24 months’ work ahead on this project in a high-profile area, developing superior residential accommodation. To £350.

Project Engineer with 5-6 years’ experience in substantial Temporary Works, Piling, Deep Basements, Reinforcement and RC works. Working with an experienced PM you will be responsible for co-ordinating the engineering aspects of the project. You will have an established team of Engineers reporting to you. Providing the link between the site operations and the PM you will be used to working for a contractor who does the work, rather than overseeing others.

Project Engineer requirements.

• Degree qualified Civil Engineer
• Temporary Works co-ordinator qualified
• SMSTS, CSCS qualified
• 5-6 years relevant experience with reputable contractor
• AutoCAD and IT literate
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Pro-active attitude to HSE
• Experience in setting out as you will be supervising the engineering team.
• Ability to lead and manage is essential.
• Someone prepared to work to “Make things happen”.

The Company is extremely well respected in all areas involving basement works, civils and RC frames; drawing on 20 years plus of experience to offer practical and innovative solutions to clients, they have a very well qualified workforce.

The Project involves demolition works which have largely been completed. Now moving on to Piling and Deep Basement works involving top-down construction.  This is the area that you will be involved with. There will be considerable amounts of Temporary Works to enable the dig to progress. There will then be major RC works in the substructure prior to commencing the super-structural RC.

The Project will see a mix of residential, commercial, retail and leisure facilities providing a community link in this area of London.

Remuneration. A competitive £330 - 350 UTR basis, is negotiable. Flexibility in rates available for the best engineers. An immediate start is available.
