We are seeking a Costing Engineer to join our Technical Department of a well established Manufacturer in the heart of Blackburn. You'll be responsible for developing cost-effective solutions tailored to both customer and company requirements, enhancing enquiry conversion rates. You will particularly support high value projects for new innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all high-value projects are logged onto the system and proved timely updates to all departments.
• Review and propose solutions for high-value enquiries.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of item masters and sample tickets.
• Maintain costings systems for efficient front-end activities.
• Proactively monitor and audit commercial processes for improvements.
• Lead and support management of commercial projects.
• Gross margin and material variance reviews.

Requirements:

• Experience with costings and costing systems.
• Strong Mathematical skills working with Excel spreadsheets.
• Experience within Manufacturing sector.
• Strong IT and Communication skills.

Salary: £33k - £35k (dependent on experience)
Location: Blackburn
Permanent - Full Time - 08:30am - 17:00pm (Mon-Thurs) early finish Fridays.
