The below job description will outline this position of: Health, Safety and Wellbeing Administrator

Typically, this person will be responsible for providing Administrative and Project support to the health, safety and wellbeing team to ensure a successful delivery of the teams objectives and targets. you will be involved in managing and analysing health and safety data, writing and compiling reports up to board level, scheduling and supporting meetings, organising health and safety compliance training, supporting and coordinating various wellbeing initiatives, managing various IT systems on behalf of the team and helping with the teams communications processes to the wider organisation.

Duties and responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Administrator:

  • You will: Manage various software systems for efficient data input and output.
  • Create and manage documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Manage and Analyse health and safety data across a range of sources to identify trends and anomalies, propose changes and to provide management information for the business. 
  • Write and compile reports.
  • Coordinate team activity and track progress against objectives and deadlines.
  • Schedule committee meetings and take minutes.
  • Organising mandatory health and safety training.
  • Assist in the execution of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing learning management system and keeping certification and records up to date on the system.
  • Assist in disseminating communications to the wider business.
  • Deliver the Health, Safety and Wellbeing induction to new starters.
  • Coordinate safety engagement visits with the senior leadership team.
  • Develop, support and co-ordinate safety projects and initiatives.
  • Create presentation material by drawing data and input from a variety of sources.
  • Investigate supplier products and services across health, safety and wellbeing and make recommendations for implementation of supplier arrangements.
  • Review current systems and process and adjust, update and amend as required to ensure that they are fit for purpose
  • Draft policy and process documents.

Qualifications and requirement for the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Administrator:

  • Educated to A level standard or equivalent
  • Acquired or working towards a relevant safety qualification: IOSH Working Safely and/or IOSH Managing Safely
  • At least 2 years Administrator Experience
  • Looking for someone with strong Administrative skills
  • Good Excel Skills
