Are you a passionate Manufacturing Project Manager who can oversee and execute capital investment projects? Do you have a deep understanding of delivering projects safely, efficiently and within budget?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Project Manager to join our client, an established manufacturer, permanently at their Folkestone site.

Duties of this role:

  • Perform tasks as directed by the Projects & Facilities Engineering Teams: Developing skills and capabilities essential for an Engineer in a manufacturing context by following the guidance of the senior team.
  • Lead the Project Gates Monthly meeting: Leading these meetings as a communication medium, connecting with the project team and other departments.
  • Monitor and be accountable for project change control: Monitoring and accountability for project change, becoming the Subject Matter Expert.
  • Formulate and carry out project communications and KPI monitoring to ensure the project progress and performance are transparent and measurable.
  • Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the project execution.
  • Ensuring project expenditure remains within the sanctioned budget and share vital project details with management and the entire workforce when needed.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Project Management, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Holds a Degree in Project Management, Engineering or a related field.
  • A Prince 2 qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Able to maintain stellar communication capabilities.
  • Robust IT proficiency with expertise in Excel.
  • Proficiency in technical drawing using AutoCad, or a willingness to learn.
  • Able to demonstrate that you are independent, proactive, pragmatic, results-orientated, solution-focused, adaptive, innovative, resilient, versatile and open to further learning and growth.
