Are you a qualified Domestic or Commercial Gas Engineer? Do you have experience carrying out servicing, breakdowns / repairs and installations of heating systems, boilers, heat pumps etc? Would you like a permanent role, well paid, paid on a weekly basis, that also has a travel time pay scheme?

Due to a new contract and existing contract expansion, we are seeking both Domestic Gas Engineers and Commercial Gas Engineers to join our growing team! You will be working across a range of light commercial environments (ie: pubs, restaurants, retail stores, supermarkets, care homes, nurseries etc), carrying out servicing, breakdowns and minor installations.

Package: What's in it for you?

• Permanent, PAYE Position
• Weekly Pay
• Standard basic hours: 07:00am - 5:30pm including travel time.
• £17.75 - £20.90 per hour (dependant on qualifications/experience)
• Locations: M3 Corridor (60-90 minute radius of home address)
• 45 hours per week including travel time: £41.7K - £48.9K per year.
• 50 hours per week including travel time: £46.4K - £54.3K per year.
• Travel time paid.
• Overtime Rates: x1.5 rate for travel, x2 rate on-site hours. (expected earnings £5K-20K per annum)
• Call Out Rota: Standby 1 in 4 weeks: £1,300 per year standby allowance + overtime rates inc travel time if called out + full travel time. (expected earnings £5K-10K per annum)
• Company van, fuel card provided
• Company pension, 28 days paid annual leave (inc BH) etc.
• Training and progression opportunities: company will put you through varied gas / hvac courses ie: comcat, lpg, oil, F-Gas after 3 months of employment, this will also increase your hourly rate of pay once completed.

Duties:

• Landlord Safety Certificates, Servicing and breakdowns on boiler systems, installations of boilers and gas fired water systems, installation, replacements, servicing and repair of heat pumps, working on a variety of systems and boiler manufacturers, providing detailed remedial repair reports with information of replacement component parts, working with vented and unvented hot water cylinders, working on heating controls such as S-Plan, Y-Plan, replacing all component parts such as Gas Valves, PCB’s, TRV’s, zonal heating valves etc.
• Updating company CAFM system, ie: logging in/out of jobs, providing detailed job notes/updates of works etc.
• Adhering to health and safety / compliance policies.
• Updating the office on availability.
• Liaising with clients as and when needed in a client facing role.

Requirements:

• Domestic Gas Safe Certificates: CCN1 (rate: £17.75 per hour)
• Commercial Gas Safe Certificates:COCN1 OR CODNCO1 OR Commercial Changeover (rate: £19.70 per hour)
• Additional tickets would great you a hire rate of £20.90 per hour, ie: Comcat, Oil, LPG etc.
• Experience carrying out maintenance and minor installations in commercial / light commercial environments.
• Able to legally work and drive in the UK.
