Are you a meticulous Design Process Engineer eager to ensure the seamless transfer of accurate design outputs to operations departments and the supply chain?
We are looking for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to join our team, someone who will be instrumental in achieving on-time project delivery by meeting crucial project milestones.
You will be collaborating closely with the program management team to interpret customer requirements and aiding the design team in the realisation of these projects. Your expertise in managing part numbers, BoM structures, sourcing components, and overseeing design reviews will be pivotal.

Your responsibilities as a Design Process Engineer:
- Collaborate with Program Management to interpret customer requirements and set a foundation for designers to create accurate models, using tools such as MS Office, PLM, and MRP software.
- Map designs and systems across the department lifecycle to ensure alignment with customer needs and adherence to company standards.
- Coordinate with Design Engineers to facilitate the effective transfer of information.
- Engage with material planning to specify and ensure timely delivery of components required for new projects.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of bills of materials to prevent project delays.
- Help in preparing documentation for both customers and suppliers, as well as creating design release documentation.
- Relevant academic background or substantial experience in engineering and manufacturing.
- Experience in supplier liaison, generating technical bulletins, stakeholder management, and product development.
- Proficient in extracting information from datasheets and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent non-verbal reasoning skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
What you can expect as a Design Process Engineer:
- Salary up to £40,000, dependent on experience.
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
