Role: Electrical Service Engineers x 5

Salary: Up to £40,404.00 per annum DOE plus overtime opportunities

Located: Rotherham – flexibility on travel within the UK and international travel available.

Hours:- Monday to Friday

Our client is looking for Electrical Service Engineers who will be responsible for their own caseload of freehold sale and purchase matters, with some leasehold and other matters as appropriate.

The role:

• Install new electrical Installations within the commercial and industrial sector.
• Conduct inspections and testing in accordance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify root causes.
• Perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
• Document all service activities.

The successful candidate:

The Engineer must be Electrically qualified and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within Electrical Installations in a commercial or industrial background.

Experience in Airports, Food, Manufacturing, specialist lighting, heavy industry would be an advantage.

Qualifications:

• Electrical Apprentice served.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Service Engineer or similar role
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, and electronic systems
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and schematics.
• 18th Edition and Periodic Inspection and testing qualifications
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

The client offers excellent rates of pay with the opportunity of overtime paid at an extra £5 per hour on Saturdays and an extra £10 per hour on Sundays.
