The Company

A multi-disciplinary engineering company is looking for a Project Planner to work in their office in Preston as part of their team on several projects in the utilities sector. This is a hybrid working role and is a great opportunity to work for a leader in the market.

The Role

As a Project Planner, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, critical path analysis as well as preparing cost estimates and monitoring project budgets. You'll also be dealing with NEC contracts so experience with these systems would be desirable but not essential. In addition, you'll be identifying potential risks, assessing their impact and generating regular progress reports for project stakeholders.

The Person

To be successful in the role of Project Planner, you'll need have experience of a similar role within an engineering organisation using P6 or MSP. In addition, this role will require good stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage new challenges. Experience within the Utilities sector would be looked upon favourably.

The Package

As a Project Planner, you'll be on a salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience and is available on a hybrid working arrangement. In addition, there's other non-tangible benefits such as pension, other work schemes and commitment to your development, both in terms of your skills and career progression
