My client is a specialist manufacturer of products that are used within the defence sector and they are seeking an Electronics Technician to join their team. As an Electronics Technician with a quality focus, you will review & test PCBs, ensure that all supporting documentation is completed correctly, ensuring that the products meets industry standards and resolve any quality issues that may occur.
Electronics Technician Responsibilities;
- Check and test completed PCBs
- Ensure that all soldering standards of IPC 610 are met
- Ensure that products meets industry standards
- Produce all required supporting documentation for each device
- Fault find and resolve any quality related issues that might occur
- Provide technical support to operators and engineers
Electronics Technician Experience;
- Previous experience working with electronics manufacturing
- Understanding of IPC 620 & IPC 610 is essential
- Attention to detail is key for this position
- Quality inspecting experience would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills are essential
