Process Design Engineer 
Greater Manchester 
Monday to Friday
£50,000 - £55,000 DOE + 7.5% bonus

A number of Process Design Engineers are wanted on a permanent basis by a global Engineering client of ours who are at the forefront of their industry and going through a real period of growth. In this role, the successful candidate will take ownership and responsibility of engineered designs within the business as well as provide support to peripheral activities including proposals, aftersales support, testing, engineering change, research and development, training, and sales.

This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between £50,000 - £55,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications plus bonuses and benefits.

Overview of the Process Design Engineer role:

• Process design responsibility, including and not limited to process design, mechanical design, instrument, and control design.
• The final design of all aspects of engineered systems and components
• Support Proposals Department
• Support after-sales activities relating to spares, replacements, site support work, training, customer meetings (external and internal) warranty claims, and fault diagnosis.

Key skills required for the Process Design Engineer role:

• Educated to degree level in an engineering or science discipline or commensurate experience.
• Experience in systems engineering preferably gained in a process/ chemical engineering background.
• Knowledge and working experience of international design standards and codes are preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience
