CNC Press Break Operative

Introduction:

We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Press Break Operative to join a reputable manufacturing company based in the North West of England. With a focus on electrical wiring accessories, circuit protection devices, cable management solutions, and control equipment, and are dedicated to delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC press break machinery efficiently and safely.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Performing quality checks to maintain product standards.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Collaborating with team members to achieve production targets.

Suitable Candidates:

• Ideal candidates should possess their own transportation and be willing and able to commute between the current location in Wythenshawe, Manchester, and the upcoming site in Hindley Green, Wigan.
• Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC punch press or CNC press break operations.
• Applicants must have Mechanical aptitude, proficiency in reading drawings, and basic knowledge of using measuring equipment.
• Candidates must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and follow clear, concise instructions is also required.

Additional Infomation and Benefits:

• Hours: Mon-Thurs 07:00-03:30 & Friday 07:00-11:00
• Pay: £16.20ph + Overtime paid at time and 1/3 for the first 2hrs, time and 1/2 after the first 2hrs and double time all day Sunday.
