Field Service Engineer, covering Cornwall to Margate, up to Bristol, underside of London area, salary starting at £36,000 + van rising to £38,000

• Customer base is predominantly weekdays only. Out of working hours is extremely rare but cannot be ruled out if the customer requires this. The team suggest alternative dates prior to having to select OOH working.
• Working hours are generally 7.30am – 4pm (This includes drive time) – This may change infrequently for cover and 2-person service work
• Working away from home averages 2 nights per week although could be as long as a week. Company Premier Inn card is supplied for accommodation, with a competitive expenses policy
• Company credit card to assist management of receipts and purchases
• Electronic job cards system to centralise service work. Schedule is also viewed on the phone
• After 6 months service, a local parts storage unit will be provided, and managed by the engineer

The role

UK leading manufacturer in its market with a diverse product range, servicing their own engineered products within laboratories, hospitals, etc. (full training given)

Experience 

We are ideally looking for an experienced Service Engineer or Field Maintenance Engineer.  We require basic mechanical skills as well as the willingness and ability to work with customers face to face and a can-do attitude.  Any electrical skills will be of benefit but not essential as training will be provided.
