Shift Pattern and Salary: This role offers a 12-hour shift pattern (4 on, 4 off) consisting of 2 days and 2 nights. The salary for this position is £50,720.83 per annum.

About the Company: Our client specializes in manufacturing gourmet butter and vegan brioche buns, doughballs, teacakes, and more. With the capacity to bake over 1 million baps and burger buns daily, they are a leading name in the bakery industry.

Role Overview: As a Shift Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of the production process. Your responsibilities will include planned maintenance work, repairs to production equipment, and maintaining Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned maintenance and repairs to production plant, equipment, and buildings
• Diagnose faults and take corrective action under breakdown conditions
• Assist and support mechanical engineers with their duties
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve efficiency's and reduce waste
• Work on projects including installation and modifications to plant and equipment

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Electrical Engineering qualifications/experience
• IPAF trained
• 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations
• PLC programming capabilities
• Experience in FMCG or a similar sector
