Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for a Controls Engineer (Senior or Principal) with a business which is focusing heavily on electrification and traditional propulsion systems of various types of mobility.
You'll be involved in driving and guiding the controls specific features and functions for vehicle systems and components. You'll be working on projects which improve vehicle safety, performance and fuel economy.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Controls development using MATLAB/Simulink and related tools
- Work alongside various team members within controls development for planning and execution
- Work with cross functional teams such as Systems, Software, and others
- Be involved with analysis, design, development and testing
- Engage in improving methods per regulations
- Take part in issue, change and configuration management
- Mentor more junior members of the team
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Full controls development experience (from requirements to testing/integration)
- Good knowledge of real-time embedded software development
- Strong understanding of AUTOSAR architecture
- MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow
- Knowledge of HV powertrain systems
- DaVinci toolchain (Developer and Configurator)
- ASPICE
DESIRABLE (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Strong understanding of ISO26262
- Experience with Polarion
- Jira or similar
