Embedded Software Engineer

BRIEF OVERVIEW
- Role: Embedded Software Engineer
- Location: North Hampshire
- Role type: Permanent
- Salary/Rate: £65,000-£75,000
- Working type: Hybrid working (3/2 split)

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to work on various projects which will be used across space technology.

This is a great opportunity for an embedded software engineer who has a keen interest in developing future technologies that are created with next-generation systems on custom chipsets.

Responsibilities include working through the entire software lifecycle so it would suit someone who wants to get involved in more than just the coding. You'll be developing and maintaining new and existing products in a timely manner.

Maintaining quality code standards and contributing to evolving design and product roadmaps will be something you will have the opportunity to be involved in.

REQUIREMENTS
- Full lifecycle embedded software engineering (requirements to testing)
- Embedded C/C++
- Embedded Linux experience (such as kernel, Yocto, low level-drivers, etc)
- Communication protocols knowledge, (such as Ethernet, SPI, I2C, USB, etc)
- Scripting experience

DESIRABLE SKILLS (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Knowledge of RF fundamentals and communications theory
- Experience with ARM or similar processors
- GIT/SVN experience
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
