Senior Control Systems Engineer

BRIEF OVERVIEW
- Role: Senior Control Systems Engineer
- Location: Warwickshire
- Role type: Permanent
- Salary/Rate: £Negotiable DOE
- Working type: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days working from home)

We are looking for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to develop projects within future technology, covering areas such as transmission systems, driveline technology, powertrain electrification and more.

You will be working with a business which is growing every year due to the great work which is done internally. The projects range from very small to very large and apply to various fields such as land, air and water-based vehicles, as well as other industries where the technology can be applied.

You'll be providing leadership to projects and applying technical knowledge for a variety of markets and sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Apply technical knowledge and experience to meet customer requirements
- Lead projects when appropriate to deliver it successfully
- Develop embedded control systems and models
- Be involved with sensors, actuators data, etc
- Software debugging
- Be involved in functional vehicle development
- Supervising technicians with building and testing
- Support control testing and data analysis, data logging and calibration
- Be involved in technical conversations internally and externally
- Continuous improvement and awareness
- Support less experienced engineers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships internally and externally

REQUIREMENTS
- Full lifecycle controls development
- MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow
- Experience with CAN tools, INCA, or similar
- ISO26262 knowledge

DESIRABLE SKILLS (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Experience with HV systems, transmission, powertrain/driveline controls or similar
- Ability to speak another language would be beneficial
- Commercial awareness within a consultancy
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
