Our client is an award winning consultancy, often revered as one the thought leaders when it comes to the built environment. Known for designing landmark projects across a variety of sectors! including projects circa £300m across commercial, Leisure, data centres life sciences sectors as well as some major projects across the Middle East. They are currently looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their team of Engineers in Farnborough.

As a Principal Electrical Engineer you will be involved with conceptual and detailed designs through all of the RIBA stages. Provide electrical design expertise to clients in a wide variety of contexts as well as developing strategic, technically based reports and plans. You'll prepare condition surveys, forward maintenance plans, dilapidation schedules, defect analyses, system diagnostics reports, schedules of condition and the monitoring of the subsequent works processes.

Principal Electrical Engineer Requirements:

  • 6-10 years' experience of electrical engineering design in the building services and construction industry
  • Experience working on projects in the following sectors is beneficial: Higher Education, Museums, Commercial, Cultural Sector
  • Relevant bachelor or master's degree
  • Revit Experience
  • Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems; ability to use Amtech, ReLux DiaLux
  • Experience in the preparation of technical reports
