Due to an increase in workload our client is looking to expand the yard team on a busy utility term contract!

Salary to £28k | Pension | Life Assurance | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Key Essentials:

* Your role will involve overseeing the yard / stores on a busy utility contract

* Checking all deliveries on arrival; ensuring correct quantities and material type / goods before being signed for

* Ordering stores before minimum levels are reached

* Responsible for the supervision of all goods in / out to site staff

* Oversee stock / stock control; ensuring that required items are ordered and replenished accordingly

* Ensure that the yard is kept clean and tidy

* Regularly loading goods on to vans / HGV’s using a forklift (training will be provided)

* Delivering / collecting supplies and/or materials from site when required

Requirements:

* You should be a confident person with previous experience working in a similar role / environment

* It is essential that you have a full UK driving licence (with less than 6-points), forklift licence would be beneficial (although training can be provided)

* You should have a good level of fitness at this is a manual position

* Basic I.T skills with Outlook / Excel and be numerate

Due to the nature of this position, it will require an early morning start (7.00am) this will be based on an 10-hour day (45-hour week).
