Quality Engineer – Croydon, Surrey – £35,000 to £45,000 plus benefits and hybrid working options

Melbreck Technical are working with a leading designer and manufacturer of special purpose equipment and machinery used in the healthcare sector.

They are continuing their expansion in their office based near Croydon, Surrey, specifically recruiting for their compliance and quality assurance capabilities. As such they are looking to hire a Quality Engineer to join their team ASAP.

Quality Engineer – Role Overview:

Responsibility for ensuring the implementation of process and their compliance to ISO 13485.

Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance processes and support the Manufacturing Quality Team Lead on the promotion and awareness of Quality;

Support the Manufacturing Quality Team Lead on quality compliance culture within the Group ensuring that all staff are aware of the Companies’ Quality Management System processes and the need to adhere to them.

Quality Engineer -  Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in a quality assurance role in a medical device organisation;

Previous experience with electronic products and/or components and subsystems;

A demonstrable knowledge in ISO13485.

Expert knowledge in continuous improvement activities and problem solving techniques;
