I am looking for several production technicians to work within the Gas and Chemical process area of a Semiconductor fabrication plant. Full training will be provided, with long-term career prospects, and potential temp to perm.

Full training will be provided for this role and would suit people from the trades, chemicals, or process industry who are hands-on in their current roles. All successful technicians will be provided full training and once signed off be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, with duties including:

• Handling and change-out of gas and chemical containers & process equipment

• Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance

• Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs

• Support of quality systems

• Managing inventories of gases and chemicals

• Primary communication point to customer

Qualification and Experience

• High school diploma, technical education, or relevant technical training within a manufacturing or semiconductor sub-fab environment.

• Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) working environment

• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and or hands-on electrical/electronic experience

• Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Excellent communication skills and strong technical writing skills

• Experience with chemicals, hazardous gases, and gas analysis, is a big ask but would be a great advantage

• Must be a strong team player and able to work either days or 12-hour rotating Day & Night Shifts.
