Pipe Fitter/Welder, Ipswich outskirts (Stowmarket side)

Mon-Fri - Permanent

Salary circa £40,000-£45,000 (incl.O/T) NEG/DOE + End of year company bonus. 20 days annual leave rising to 25+BH.

Experienced Pipe Fitters/Welders required to join a busy fluid engineering division specialising in above and below ground industrial pipework in all materials for hot and cold water, steam, natural gas, fuel oils and LPG.  In addition to installing Plate Heat Exchangers, Calorifiers, Pumps, Fuel and Water Storage Tanks and Water Boosting Equipment.

Experience and Skills Required

Experience with screwed steel, stainless steel, and copper (press-fit/soldered/brazed) and PVC/ABS pipework systems – essential.

Experience of heating systems, pumps, and maintenance – advantageous.

Electrical qualification for basic isolation/disconnection/reconnection of equipment would also be highly beneficial.

Full support in the role along with a fully expensed company van and phone will be provided.
