Maintenance Engineer

Monday to Friday 07:00 Till 15:30.

Birmingham.

£40,000 - £43,000.

1 week in 7 emergency callouts + stand by fee paid up front regardless of call outs + double time for any attendance whilst on call.

Average earnings in the maintenance department: £52,000+

You can expect:

Maintenance Engineer duties:
This position is tailored to any maintenance engineer looking to work on more interesting equipment with a large, motivated team. My client is looking for mechanically biased individuals who are hungry to learn and earn a handsome salary for their efforts. 

• Large scale production machinery.
• Overhead cranes.
• Hydraulic systems – full training provided.
• Reactive and preventative maintenance.
• Reading engineer drawings.
• You’ll be encouraged to have a continuous improvement mindset and your ideas will be taken seriously.

Our client is very accommodating to engineers outside of the industry and have a detailed induction plan to bring you up to speed with the machinery, the layout, and their way of working.

A Successful maintenance engineer application:

You must hold an engineering qualification level 3+
