Engineering Project Co-ordinator

Permanent, Mon-Fri 08:30am-5:00pm, Engineering company, LE4

salary up to: £40k + free car park + benefits

Requirements:

• Assist design engineers with the coordination of costings for new designs and lapsed products.
• Coordinate the introduction of new and reintroduced products and projects, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
• Support design engineers in their project management roles, ensuring adherence to relevant processes and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Coordinate cost reduction activities, working towards achieving accurate and best costs achievable.
• Assist in maintaining project relevant risk management, adhering to relevant management system standards and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of customer requirements and specifications.
• Act as a central contact point, ensuring deadlines are met throughout the end-to-end process.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is compiled and maintained within project folders, including synchronisation of master data in ERP systems.

To excel in this role, you will need to have strong project management qualifications and 3-5 years of hands-on project coordination experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.

You should also possess an appreciation for cost management and be familiar with technical manufacturing processes. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Infor is highly desirable.
