How would you like to work for a global leader? This is a brilliant and unique opportunity for a motivated Functional Safety Engineer to join and become a key player in the market. We are looking for a Functional Safety Engineer to join an established team, developing safety strategies for powertrain systems ensuring the functional safety of powertrain electronic controls in passenger cars, commercial vehicles and off-highway machines.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Main point of contact with customers to help with the creation of Functional Safety Goals and to explain such ideas for the design team
- Create a production release report, safety case, development interface agreement, functional safety concept, and effect analysis on customer safety needs and goals in collaboration with the project team.
- Share the technical status of the project both internally and internationally.
Create a Technical Safety Concept (TSC) in accordance with ISO 26262 based on the Functional Safety Goals of the customer. - Examine hardware, software, and system safety work products.
- Conduct safety assessments and functional safety analyses (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA) • Occasional travel and flexible work schedules
