Position: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £35,000 per annum + Overtime

Hours: Monday - Friday

Job Type: Full time, permanent

Interaction Recruitment have partnered with a well-established manufacturer.  Due to an expansion in the business, they are looking to welcome a skilled mechanically bias engineer to their site based on the outskirts of Peterborough. This opportunity offers a scope for progression into a senior/lead engineer role, training & annual pay reviews.

The Role:

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on range of machinery.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment to minimise downtime.

- Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance activities as needed.

- Work closely with the maintenance team to improve maintenance processes.

- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

- Comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

- Relevant Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) – Advantageous

- In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery

- Experience of working in a fast-paced production environment for a minimum of 2 years - Essential

- Ability to work alone & as part of a team
