Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber.
Location: Chester, Cheshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £34k + Training + Benefits
We are recruiting in the North West region for a renowned and established Water Hygiene / Legionella company. They are now seeking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber to cover Commercial, Industrial, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Educational sites across the North West of England and North Wales. You will be responsible for carrying out various L8 compliance duties, working in accordance with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a forward-thinking company who can offer tailored training and progression, excellent holiday allowance and company pensions scheme.
Traveling across the North West / A55 Corridor and the surrounding areas: Crewe, Macclesfield, Stockport, Warrington, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Liverpool, St Helens, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Ellesmere Port, Rhyl, Conwy Bay, Llandudno, Conwy, Wrexham.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Wil hold an industry recognised plumbing qualification e.g. City and Guilds / NVQ ideally L2 or above.
" Will have experience working for a Water Hygiene / Legionella company, working hands on as an engineer / plumber.
" Excellent knowledge of HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Abel to communicate with clients and colleagues efficiently.
" Able to manage workload in line with client / company requirements.
The Role:
" Carrying out routine temperature monitoring and water sampling.
" TMV servicing & failsafe's.
" Carrying out showerhead cleans and descales.
" CWST cleans, chlorination, disinfection and removal.
" Carrying out deadleg removals.
" Re-rerouting and removing pipework. (PVC & Copper)
" Carrying out flushing of little used outlets.
" Ensuring to update onsite logbooks accurately.
" Carrying out fault-finding on site and rectifying issues in a timely manner.
" Working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
