C&I Systems Engineer

Outside IR35 (6 Months)

£30-£40 per hour

• Location: Reading (60/40 Hybrid Working subject to operational requirements)

• Purpose: Seeking a C&I Systems Engineer to join the expanding Engineering team. Role involves applying technical expertise in Control and Instrumentation Systems throughout solar PV and Battery Energy Storage projects' lifecycle.
• Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations on C&I design.
  • Create design specifications and manage subcontractors.
  • Review client proposals and support bids/tenders.
  • Offer technical support to clients and subcontractors.
  • Ensure alignment between design/construction and operational teams.
• Health, Safety, Environment & Quality: Adhere to company rules, laws, and regulations regarding health, safety, environment, and quality.
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Essential: C&I Engineering knowledge, industry standards proficiency, SCADA systems experience, understanding of power generation technologies.
  • Desirable: Expertise in Battery Energy Storage and/or Solar PV systems.
