This international but founded in the UK multi-disciplined consultancy are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer who is either chartered or near to being chartered to join their civils team in Manchester .
The role of the civils team and the senior civil engineer will entail the delivery of high quality infrastructure designs (roads , flood risk , drainage) associated with building and public realm works projects.
The civil and structures team work closely together in this office which consists of 15 people.
This consultancy work on civil engineering projects with their designs associated with building developments and public realm projects, from the early master planning stage through to delivery of solutions on site, highway infrastructure projects and civil engineering master planning including flood risk.

The role and senior civil engineer skills/requirements:
- Design of projects from the concept stage through to the construction stage.
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports and specifications.
- Development of client relationships.
- Drainage schemes associated with buildings, highways, public realm and landscape projects.
- Highway and pavement design associated with building projects.
- Undertaking of designs for section 38, 278 and 104 agreements.
- Practical knowledge of AutoCAD, Micro Drainage, and used Civil 3D for ground modelling, road and drainage design.
