Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager

Overview Delve Recruitment are currently working with a growing engineering business who design and manufacture bespoke highly technical equipment supplied into the Oil and Gas sector. Due to growth, they are looking to add a Senior Project Engineer into the structure with the view of this role developing into Operations Manager through succession planning.
The Role
Reporting into the Operations Manager, this role is a stand alone role (no current direct reports) overseeing all the projects running in the business - this could be 10-15 at any one time, so you will need to be effective at juggling and prioritising projects. You don't need to have PM qualifications, this is more about getting the right person from the right background who has strong aspirations to develop their career within a growing business.
This is genuinely a rare opportunity where a progression path is paved for the right person who is seeking to strive forwards!
Qualifications and Skills
The salary will be dependant on experience level, as they are open to someone slightly junior who is a shining star, or someone already with experience ready to move into the Op's role more quickly.

Qualifications and Skills
- Could be experienced based, but strong preference for having engineering qualifications
- Proven Project engineering/management experience,
- Ideally from an Electro-mechanical, high tech environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Detail orientated
- Strong skills in prioritising and organisation
- Excellent communication skills - cross departmental and customer facing externally
