Job Title: Trainee Mechanical Fitter
Location: Sheffield
Shifts: Days regular
Salary: Circa £25,000 per annum
Metalis is working with a company based in Rotherham, who design, manufacture and install bespoke solutions for a range of heavy industries. They are looking to add to their team by recruiting for a trainee mechanical fitter.
Job Role:
- Following ongoing training, to carry out mechanical fitting duties as designated by the workshop manager on a range of bespoke products.
- Completing all tasks and duties according to applicable risk assessments and method statements.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Stripping, maintaining and refurbishing gearboxes, chain and belt conveyors, crushers and hydraulic brackets following training.
- Following all health & safety guidelines.
Job Requirements:
- Apprentice trained in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Early stages of your career, looking to progress with a forward-thinking company.
- Positive attitude, willing to learn.
Job Details:
